What's for dinner challenge.

by Matthew Karas
(Massachusetts)

I just finished the "What's for Dinner Challenge" you sent out. It was awesome! I cooked the Parmesan breaded chicken, jerk spice rib eye, chicken cochee, and chicken Marsala. Cooking with the thermometer kept the chicken moist and delicious. I never could get chicken quite right before. Your insistence that there's no wrong way to do it made me persevere when I didn't have the exact ingredients. I wasn't afraid to test and modify, it wasn't the end of the world. I might have to get rid of my dry spices though.

Chef Todd Says:
Cool! That's a creative use of the program, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

What do you think, everyone out there? Should the dinner challenge return?

Chef Todd.

Keep the WFDC!

I've done three of the five days so far! Still finishing up the challenge! This is a fun section and I've learned a ton already. One key that helps is keeping a notepad at hand when you're cooking. I use it to jot down observations, ingredients used, method, etc.

So far I've made Filet of Sole Rochester, Italian Shrimp Marsala, and Caribbean Red Snapper Ochee! Got two more to go!
