Sushi DVD

by Keiko
(UK)

Hi,
I was wondering if you could help me out.
I am a trained japanese sushi chef and i am doing a dvd about making sushi. I have no ideas about sales figures to expect...could you tell me roughly if it is a good venture to do do?
Thank you and well done for your enthusiasm!
Best regard,
Keiko

Chef Todd Says:
Gee, Keiko, I don't think I can answer that question. I have no idea how many DVDs you'll sell. There are so many variables that go into selling DVDs on the internet. Beside having great content, you need to market and make sure people are aware of your disk. If your pricing is right, it's easy to buy, and has value to your customers, you should do well.

You will sell zero DVDs if you never create a DVD for sale. Go for it and see what happens.

Chef Todd.

DVD Manufacture
by: Joe Brunatti

Hello,

My name is Joe Brunatti, I'm a CD/DVD replication & packaging facility here in North Hollywood Cal. However we do business all over the world as we have facilties in both China and Holland. We are also partners with facilities in San Jose, CA and in Texas.

We are currently expanding and looking to add an additional building down the street. We are looking for Customers that are one reliable and two can produce descent numbers to become partners with and supply them not only with great customer service, but overall production quality and turn times. Between the 3 facilities we are capable of producing anywhere from 3 -5 million disc's a month, but can still handle your 500 pc job if needed.

As well as having a full authoring department, We also have a full scale print facility down stairs with 2 presses that not only covers the CD/DVD industry, but we are capable of anything from posters, flyer's, to magazines and everything in between.

Right now I can take your DVD master and replicate and package them retail ready from anywhere from $0.40 to $0.70ea. We can print and package the discs into almost every option available.

We also are capable of all specialty disc's as well as Blue Ray however we are working on a more aggressive price list, but if you need any prices in the mean time let me know and I will get a quote for you.

I look forward to receiving any feedback as well as any questions you might have.

Thanks
Joe Brunatti

Infotainment
by: Emmett Hines

Count me as at least one person interested in a sushi-making DVD. For what it is worth, one of the things that attracted me to Chef Todd is that he couples entertainment with instruction. As a coach/teacher myself, I understand that people learn more, and more rapidly, when they are having fun doing it. If you have kids, you already know this. "Play" is Nature's way of learning about the world and about our capabilities - and Nature's way of getting us to continually push the envelope. Kids are hard wired to play but us grownups tend to need to be led or nudged in that direction. Hence, make your DVD as much fun to watch as it is informative and you'll have a big audience.
