Shrimp Dish Success

by Ron
(Stuart, FL)

Last night I decided to make a shrimp-something for us.

While the shrimp were thawing I diced up some onion and sliced some mushrooms.
I sauteed them in butter at medium heat, and added the shrimp.
When the shrimp were done I made a cornstarch slurry with white wine, added a touch of Worcestershire sauce and sprinkled a little Cayenne over the shrimp.
Once the sauce thickened I served it over thin spaghetti...

It was delicious - and, again, I impressed my girlfriend!

Went to Trader Joes today and was amazed at how many different types of shrip there are. Got some wild Blue Shrimp (just the name, not the color) from Argentina, Sauted them with butter, garlic and Old Bay. They actually have flavor like the shrip I used to have as a kid.
