Like finding hidden treasure!

Chef Todd, I am so incredibly excited. I have been searching the internet, knowing that something like this and someone like you were out there somewhere! I am 47 years old and work night shift at Kroger grocery. About 4 years ago I started cooking on my nights off just to give my wife a break. Surprisingly, I fell in love with the whole experience! I love it all...the slicing, dicing, mincing, grating, sauteing, mixing, peeling, all of it!

However, due to life's obligations I simply cannot attend culinary school. And, believe me. I have seriously looked into it. I even called the closest one to my home. I just can't do it...moneywise or timewise.

So, I Googled "cooking". After mulling through nearly 40 sites, (I think yours was number 39) I nearly jumped out of my socks!!!!!!! To hear you explain your site, method of teaching, reason for teaching, etc. makes me feel as if I have found the "Holy Grail" I have been searching for! I am currently trying to dig through the family budget for the money for the DVD set. I want them all! They are priced right as well. I just don't have it "laying around" at the moment. I told my wife, "I'll sell plasma if I have to!" hahaha!

I cannot wait to dive in! Thank you chef Todd, for offering your experience in such a wonderful way.
