I've made a discovery!!!

I finally figured out how to make the soft bread like they have in Asia. It came to me in a dream yesterday. I was home with a cold so I tested out my idea and it worked!
All it is is raised doughnut dough, the kind with mashed potatoes in it. You cut and raise the buns then coat them with cream. When ready to bake you bake them at 275 degrees. It's terrific. You get very airy lite rolls that are like snowflakes. They can be filled, coated, etc...
I had watched them make the rolls while over there so I copied their technique, temperature, etc... There were a few other techniques that I observed so if interested let me know.
Learning to cook by observation rather than a written recipe will always yield better results.
Congrats to you for figuring it out.
Chef Todd.
