How can I put a bowl inside a bowl when mixing?

by David
(Tel Aviv, Israel)

Hello Chef Todd.

In your buttercream making video, You have used a technique to cool down the cream - a bowl inside a bowl. The outside bowl is filled with ice, to cool the inside bowl.
I have a "Kenwood" mixer who have been along with me for many years.
Despite having serveral mixing bowls in my house, the bowl intended to use with Kenwood has a special structure - It's bottom exactly matches the metal opening at the Kenwood mixer. Meaning that I can't put a bowl inside a bowl - because It'll slip.
With what kind of hardware can I do this trick? I am intending to buy a new modern equipment for my house and currently consulting of choosing a mixer.

With Regards, David.

Chef Todd Says:
David-
Perhaps I don't fully understand your question. But, if I do understand it correctly, my suggestion would be to transfer your item from the special mixer bowl to another bowl, and then put that one inside the ice-bowl.

Chef Todd.
